"Data economy": Our data are the new raw material of the economy

The history of economics, which is no more than the history of mankind from another perspective, can be synthesized for this post (simplified) as the succession of successive economic cycles and socio-economic systems, sprinkled by the arrival of new technologies that they allow to produce new products or start using new raw materials. It is in this last sentence that the key to today's analysis lies in the fact that the data that has been brought about by the technification and the exponential digitization of our lives are both a product and a raw material.
