Allgemeines zu Alexz » Paladin for a new healer to raiding..

Hey guys, For anyone playing/played the Beta what is the easier of the 2 for someone who wants to get into healing in raids?
My mate who has played a Rogue since launch has never ever played a healer but wants to switch to main healer in MoP and has asked what would be easier to learn on.
I said try Monk because everybody will be learning the new class but another mate reckons he should go Pally as they are pretty good for first time healers.
Any thoughts?
