Almost bought it on impulse, didn't, been curious about it since.
The album cover was covered in writing (I think front and back) which was a, I guess, the main songwriter explaining the process of recording the album - how they got really experimental by putting microphones at different points round the studio, so rather than mixing volumes of different instruments digitally they did it by just placing thinks nearer or further from the mic. If they wanted guitars quiet in the background they placed the guitarist across the room furthest from the mic
